Meet Joe Grushkin:
Joe Grushkin, a 1984 graduate of Richard Stockton State University of New Jersey, majoring in Marketing and Management. While in college, Joe was the #1 sales rep in New England and ranked #3 Nationally for Vector Marketing, selling Cutco Cutlery on a direct sales basis. Upon graduation he became a district sales manager of Vector in Connecticut, then Boston. He was the #1 sales manager in 1984, 1987, 1989 breaking and setting records in sales volume, sales rep productivity and profitability.
In 1986, Joe became the New England Division Manager, ultimately developing and promoting 18 sales reps to management positions, which generated $3.5 million in 1989, with the highest productivity in company’s history (a record which still stands today). Joe’s Division ranked #1 in 1988 and 1989, in sales and productivity.
Joe’s innovation, creativity, vision and leadership won him a promotion to National Sales Manager/ General Manager of Canada, in 1990. With just 4 sales managers, who in 1990 ranked #1, #2, #3 & #5 in the company, the Canadian team grew to over 55 sales offices in 1997, generating $10 million is sales.
Joe was inducted into the Vector / Cutco Hall of Fame in 1991. His career is responsible for generating over $60 million in sales, developing and promoting over 150 sales managers and recruiting over 10,000 sales reps, in 14 years.
Co-owner of 5 franchises (which make up the entire state of Connecticut and the Springfield area of Mass.) his vision, management skills and vast selling experience are an asset to Unishippers. Since becoming full time in Unishippers, he is responsible for doubling the volume of his franchise, which generates over 25,000 shipments a month, and is consistently ranked in the top 15 of 300 franchises the system. Sold franchises and retired in 2005.
In 2006, Joe became established as in Internet Entrepreneur, initially as a Virtual Media Consultant and Web 2.0 specialist, introducing businesses and individuals to streaming video solutions. That role expanded to internet advertising, recruiting, blogging, e-books, live broadcasting (the first online live daily talk show - www.joelive.tv) and consulting to small and medium sized businesses looking to increase their results from their sales and marketing efforts.
In 2007, Joe found himself pulled into the necessary role of Business Coach for a number of local businesses. Word of mouth spread as clients found Joe’s coaching and leadership was a tremendous asset, increasing sales, lowering expenses and developing business owner’s mindset to take their businesses to a new level. As a business coach, Joe has developed a “virtual” sales management program for sales organizations that are looking to reduce their sales overhead while increasing sales volume with this creative and innovative approach to sales management.
In 2010, seeing the need to assist small businesses in rebounding from the economic challenges, Joe launched an innovative business InLineAdz, Inc. placing large screen monitors in high traffic business location and then selling inexpensive advertising to local businesses to increase their brand awareness and customer acquisition. InLineAdz, Inc. is building to become the National Leader of Local Market Digital Sign Advertising.
In 2012, Joe expanded his “product” offering to include MaxExposure – Social media Management services. By realizing the need for small business to engage with Social Media to survive in today’s marketplace, he developing a program to set-up manage and maintain Social Media for his clients, at a price any business can afford. The response was tremendous, with small businesses across the country benefitting from the professional management of their social media without any additional efforts on their part…for less that to cost of “lunch money” a day!
Joe lives in Westport Connecticut, with his wife Pam, three “young adult” daughters -Aly, Genna & Leigha, and 3 dogs. His hobbies include golf, personal development programs and community service. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Westport/Weston Chamber of Commerce, as the executive director of the youth football/cheerleading program and vice president of the Westport Little League / softball program. He enjoys fun in the sun by the family pool, hanging out with family and friends, fantastic resort vacation and taking in all that life has to offer.
As a speaker and sales trainer, Joe has a flair for communication. His style and insights are honed skills from over 25 years of public speaking experience. The lessons he offers are easily transferred to and adopted by any sales, marketing or management team.
Joe resides in Westport CT, with his wife of 26 years, their 3 beautiful daughters and 3 large dogs...
